You can rent individual items or complete camping bundles for trips from 1 to 30 nights. Our selection includes gear for both car camping and backcountry trips, including tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, air mattresses, bug shelters, backpacks, camp stoves, cookware, coolers, chairs, hammocks, lanterns, headlamps, tarps, and other camping essentials. Choose only what you need, or book a complete bundle for an easier setup.

Absolutely. Tent To Trail is designed for both first-time campers and seasoned outdoor enthusiasts. Beginners can choose complete bundles and get help selecting the right tent, sleeping setup, cooking gear, and accessories. Experienced campers can rent individual items or premium backcountry gear without having to buy, store, or transport everything themselves.

Tent capacity ratings indicate the maximum number of people who can sleep inside, usually with very little extra space for bags or other gear. For a more comfortable setup, we generally recommend choosing a tent rated for at least one or two more people than the size of your group.

For example, a 4-person tent is generally comfortable for two to three campers with their gear, while four adults may find it quite snug. If you are using larger air mattresses or would like extra room to move around, sizing up is usually the better choice. Yes. We offer camping gear delivery to homes, condos, hotels, and other accommodations across Toronto and the following areas: North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York, York, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Oakville.

Delivery is free with camping bundle rentals. For all other equipment rentals, delivery is available for a flat rate of $20. You can also collect and return your gear at our pickup location in Little Italy, Toronto.

At checkout, you can choose either delivery or pickup. Two to three days before your rental begins, we will contact you to confirm a convenient delivery or pickup time.

For pickup orders, gear is collected from our Little Italy location at the arranged time. Delivery orders are brought directly to your address within a confirmed two-hour delivery window. Depending on availability, we may also be able to provide your gear the evening before your trip.

At the end of your rental, we can arrange a return time at our Little Italy location anytime up to the evening of your final rental day. For added convenience, you can also select our $30 gear collection service, and we will arrange to pick everything up from you.

Rentals are priced according to the number of nights you have the gear. For example, picking up your gear on Friday afternoon and returning it on Sunday evening is a 2-night rental.

Depending on availability, we may also be able to deliver or provide your gear the evening before your booking begins at no extra charge. This can be especially helpful if you are leaving early the following morning.

We take cleaning seriously and are meticulous about preparing every item between rentals. Sleeping bags are washed, fully dried, and sanitized before being repacked. Tents are cleaned as needed, sanitized, aired out outdoors, and carefully checked for damage, moisture, and missing components.

Sleeping pads and air mattresses are wiped down and sanitized, with valves and inflation points carefully cleaned and disinfected. Cooking equipment, cookware, and utensils are thoroughly washed and inspected. Chairs, coolers, backpacks, and accessories are also cleaned and checked before every booking.

We genuinely care about our equipment and treat every item as if it were our own, taking the time to keep it clean, well maintained, and ready to serve you well throughout your trip.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for summer weekends, long weekends, and larger group trips. Popular tents, bundles, and sleeping gear can sell out during busy periods. Last-minute bookings may still be available, so contact us if your trip is coming up soon.

Bookings cancelled at least 72 hours before the rental begins are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours are generally provided as a credit toward a future rental.

We understand that camping plans do not always go as expected. Severe weather, travel disruptions, park closures, and other unexpected situations can sometimes affect a trip. When that happens, just get in touch and we’ll work with you to find the best possible solution.
